Yes. The convening is free and open to registered attendees.
Where will the convening be held?
The convening will take place at the convention center at The Pelican Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
What area of Accra is the Pelican Hotel located in?
The Pelican Hotel is located in the Cantonments neighborhood of Accra, a central residential and business district in the Greater Accra Region.
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes. Advance registration is required, and attendance is first come, first served due to limited capacity.
Do you provide financial assistance for travel or lodging?
No. We are unable to provide monetary assistance for travel, lodging, or related expenses. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel.
Can you provide a letter to support my travel or visa application?
Yes. Upon request, we can provide a letter confirming your attendance as an audience member at the convening. Please note that this letter does not imply funding and does not confirm participation as a panelist.
Do I need a visa to travel to Ghana?
Visa requirements vary by nationality. All international travelers are responsible for confirming whether they require a visa to enter Ghana and for securing the appropriate documentation prior to travel.
Is a Yellow Fever vaccination required?
Yes. All travelers entering Ghana are required to have a valid Yellow Fever vaccination and may be asked to present proof upon arrival.
Do I need to stay at the Pelican Hotel to attend the convening?
No. Attendees may stay at any accommodation of their choosing.
